but it seems like as good of a time as any to do this.
from today on i quit smoking.
im going to start saving serious money to move in late january / early febuary.
i will make time at least four times a week to play guitar.
and will get my sleep schedule back on track.
these are my goals,
all to be completed by the new year at the latest. |

the last couple days have been rather productive. Up until then, i have had a lack of drive to accomplish anything, work, party, sleep, repeat. Stuck in a cycle,
but i have seen daylight before noon the last couple days, payed outstanding bills, taken my little sister out.
Life is coming together again, slowly but surely. I move into a new place at the start of the upcoming month, also taking care of my citizenship status at the end of the month (which solves almost all of my problems).
within the next three months i will have bought a new car (scion tc 2006-8) got the ball rolling for unity gain recording with no financial restraint, have a social security card, and maybe even get myself the xbox i've been talking about for a little while.
anddd i havn't even slowed down the smoking.. sometimes i surprise myself.
ps. cutting my hair was probably one of the best decisions i have made in quite some time.

i've had alot of time lately to think.
the past five months i haven't really achieved much, music is about the only aspect that has progressed. Other than that, not much, still sitting on a few college credits, looking for online schools still, but i might give into edison again :/
i have been spending too much time intoxicated, which sounds nice and all, but there is a time and place, and lately that time and place has been almost every night at the house of james and aj, which i need to stop, or at least cut back on.
Also i realzed that with my current schedule i am not the most active, which i'm going to also make attempts to change, at least slightly, with weekly basketball ha :)
things lately have been odd to say the least and i've learned who are and are not my real friends.
new tattoo in a couple weeks,
online classes will be signed up for,
and smoking cut back continues. |

yesterday i got a n64 with 5 games and two controllers for $12. i was stoked.
i also saw tims new band "you blew it" which i was extremely impressed with, sounded like if you mixed american football with some cap' n' jazz :)
i have been more social as of late, which is nice, but at the same time still almost new to me.
going on a week of not shaving again, so im passed the point where i turn back and shave, let's see where this goes.. haha.

i want last weekend back again.
i saw 40 bands in 2 days,
and watched a band standing next to paul baribeau... still wierd.
leaving town for a couple days was nice,
different.
did inspire me to pick up my guitar more often though,
capo on first fret is now my new favorite to sing to though.
kevin devine writes all of his songs on 1st and i can surprisingly sing them better than i thought.
i need to get back into poker more,
lately i haven't had the time or money,
but starting next week,
im going to start playing a couple more home games,
and make a weekly appearence at the club,
new faces are always good with poker though.
i can't stop listening to good luck, the mountain goats, and hop along, queen... |

life lately has been crazy,
i need to slow down,
shits getting ridiculous.
and i'm usually not like this..
my days are starting to begin at 12pm or later on the average,
im up to a pack a day again,
and there hasn't been a day in the past week where i haven't been fucked up in some way.
harvest of hope will be insane, then it's time to take it down a step and focus.
im kind of quoting james here but jimmy go swimmer played our first show last week,
it went kinda shaky at first but overall pretty well,
the miami kids told us we are always welcome and can always hook us up with a show whenever.
re-recording soon, and new songs ..better songs :)
ah,
time to go to work,
im just waiting for sunday night,

so i haven't really updated in a while with anything to say,
but things are pretty good as a whole,
condos really chill now, i have an awesome kitten who is fun to come home to,
financially im pretty much set right now, working six days a week and making a good amount on the side from poker,
and the days are going by so so.
musically, i'm listening to alot more folky/indie/acoustic bands,
all im playing is acoustic guitar, haven't thought about electric in quite some time,
recording myself soon, i'm growing confidence in my vocal abilites, time to put it to the test and record.
frank turner, good luck, andrew jackson, oh no oh my, and city and colour is pretty much all im listening to lately :)
once i have a sleep schedule and i figure out where i will be spending my days in the coming years i'l be all set |
